    If you haven’t yet experienced this beloved holiday classic at The Opera House, you won’t want to miss it! If you’ve seen it, you’ll want to see it again. This is the fourtieth consecutive year in which Boston Ballet is performing The Nutcracker, a classical ballet in two acts based on a story by E.T.A. Hoffmann. Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen’s production features the entire Boston Ballet and more than 250 children from Boston Ballet School. The full Tchaikovsky score will be performed live by the Boston Ballet Orchestra.
