This page connects you to scholarships available for Northeastern Honors Undergraduates like the Gladys Brooks Undergraduate Award and also introduces you to some scholarships and fellowships that are offered at the national level. There are a large number of potential funding sources and we are highlighting only a selection. We hope that you find these links helpful and that perhaps you will choose to investigate other possible scholarship/fellowship sites.
We encourage you to seriously consider competing for funding for a number of reasons. As a strong undergraduate student, you are positioned to apply for some of these awards. Sometimes, the financial support can be small, but the prestige that an award brings opens doors for future funding and graduate level work. Other Fellowships offer significant financial support for graduate level work or opportunities while an undergraduate for unique and challenging experiences. Many focus on encouraging students to frame work on an international level, opening doors to travel and study abroad.
