The Honors Senior Fellowship Award

The Honors Senior Fellowship Award is an award given by the Honors Program to provide financial support to a student who is working on his or her Junior/Senior Honors Project. The award funds two students with a research stipend of $2,500.

The award is a resesarch stipend in the amount of $2,500


Eligibility Criteria

Junior or senior status

Good standing in the Honors Program

An accepted Honors project proposal of at least eight semester hours


Application Requirements

Personal statement outlining the Honors project and future career plans

Copy of the Honors project proposal

Two letters of recommendation from Northeastern faculty, one of whom must be the honors project advisor


The end product of the award will be the final project report required of all Honors students. The award recipient will be expected to make a presentation of the project results at the annual Honors Evening in the spring of their award year.
