National Fellowship Listing
National scholarships are prestigious awards that can help finance your studies. These scholarships provide one or more years of financial support for graduate studies and, in a few cases, undergraduate studies. Some of the more prominent national scholarships include the British Marshall Scholarship, Truman Scholarship, Rhodes Scholarship, National Science Foundation Awards and Fulbright Awards. These scholarships are awarded competitively by national organizations based on a student's academic merit and quality of the application. Each application typically requires one or more essays, letters of recommendation and interviews. Successful applicants prepare well in advance through the courses they take and their engagement in extracurricular and related activities. Northeastern University assists students in competing for these scholarships through information, advising and mentoring. Website Connections Northeastern is a member of IRIS:Illinois Researcher Information Service. This site has a database of funding opportunities, including fellowships and scholarships for grad students. The National Collegiate Honors Council Scholarships webpage provides website links to many national scholarships.
