Jimmy Weng

Last semester Jimmy Weng was on Co-op in Hong Kong where he worked for Morgan Stanley. This was the first time Northeastern has ever had a student on Co-op in Hong Kong! Being on international Co-op gave Jimmy the chance to learn and gain experience both on the job and by immersing himself in the culture. From excursions, to festivals, to shopping and eating experiences, Jimmy was certainly able to get the most out of his Co-op and time in Hong Kong. Click here to read more about Jimmy's experience.

Jennifer Noveck

Jen Noveck is a 2004 graduate of Northeastern. She has received a Fulbright Award for the 2006-2007 year. Currently she is living in Nanjing, China where she is conducting research on Women's Studies and International Affairs in China. More specifically, she is studying how rapid economic development and the reemergence of traditional cultural beliefs are currently affecting Chinese women's employment opportunities. To read about the progress of her research, as well as her trials and tribulations of living in a new country, make sure to read her blog.

Lindsay Jones

Lindsay graduated from Northeastern in 2006. Lindsay was the first Northeastern recipient of the Steamboat Fellowship. For this prestigious fellowship, Northeastern is partnered with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Lindsay had the opportunity to work in radiation oncology which she would not have been able to do otherwise. After completing her fellowship, she was able to stay at Dana Farber for a six-month Co-op. Click here to read more about the Steamboat Fellowship and Lindsay's experience at Dana Farber.

Irene Bukh

In the Spring of 2005, Irene received the Gladys Brooks Undergraduate award which provides funding to Honors students working on their junior/senior projects. Irene's research for her Honors Project led her to work with Western Lowland Gorillas. Through her previous work in a BU Medical lab and her work on her thesis, Irene became interested in pursuing a future that would allow her to practice veterinary medicine as well as do research.
