Matt Evola

This spring I was fortunate enough to travel to Prague in order to conduct research in their archives for my Honors Project. My topic involves American covert operations in the Czech Republic during and immediately after the Second World War. I knew that getting a chance to look at real documents from the time period would be invaluable for my research and so I set to work applying for an Honors Undergraduate Research Grant. Armed with this grant, a bit of naivete, and a lot of enthusiasm I embarked on my journey in January. Above is a picture a friend of mine took above the Vltava River from the famous area in Prague known as Vysehrad which literally means ʻHigh Placeʼ.
